The main purpose of creating a Student council is to give an opportunity to students to develop leadership qualities by organizing and carrying out school activities. It also nurtures a sense of respect, delegation of responsibility among them.
The Student council is intended to equip students with skills that enhance communication, confidence, motivation, and interpersonal relationships, enabling them to realize their maximum potential.
‘Students’ Council’ is formed annually in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). This council serves to inculcate values of responsibility, leadership, and commitment among the students.
Students’ Council Investiture Ceremony is held to confer the authority and responsibility to the newly selected Students’ Council Office Bearers.
